Thread: Which vise?

I was meaning the other sort of Vice.

I have many vices but the main one I use for woodworking is an elcheapo quick release steel bench vice.

Now for boat building one of the best set ups I've seen is this bench at Denman Marine using simple wedges to hold and support planks, great stuff.

After a long absence, may I say that I'm rather fond of my Carbatec Chinese imitation Emmert Patternmaker's vice.

Actually I've just searched the forums and discovered that I said that in 2006 as well, so I guess I still like it!

It would be hard to live without, is all I can say now!

Mike, I don't see it, which is a shame as I am a fan of benches, holes, screws, wedges.... was that the right pic?
