    Default Whipper snipper power.

Browsing youtube once (while seeing how people epoxy) i stumbled upon videos of people who have used a cordless drill with a prop mounted onto a long metal rod which they have used to push a tiny punt.

I was wondering if anyone has done anything similar with a whipper snipper (weed whacker or edger) and if anyone could tell me how they did it.

So much i want to do with such little time (before uni kicks in again) and money!

There is a kit of parts foating arround the internet, to convert a straight shaft brushcutter into a sort of outboard.

there is also a small outboard going arround that is powered by a large brushcutter motor.

    cheers
Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

One of the stands that turns up at the WWW shows with a caravan sells the kit, along with a variety of weed whacker heads. It only fits the straight shaft machines.
