Thread: Fix humidity in garden shed

We've just moved into our new house, and there are two areas that are "mine" - a 3.8m x 2.3m garden shed which sits on the paved area surounding the pool, and the 3rd garage which has been lined and carpeted and has its own separate entries.

The garden shed always seems very hot, dank and humid when I open it - it's in full sun the majority of the day, and over the 3 days the lathe bed has been in there it's acquired a light coating of rust on the ways.

There is currently no electricity to the garden shed.

I've been thinking whirly bird, or the E-vent mentioned on here (is there a NSW seller??).

Is it worth laying plastic, then a thin layer of cement?

Any other ideas to make the garden shed a practical woodwork shed?
