Default Why aren't sponsor banners linked to their website in sponsor forum?

    Just a quick question:

Why on the sponsor forums does the banner for the sponsor link back to the forum (the same page you are already viewing) and not their own website, like the random forum sponsor banners that appear on the right?

This is obviously known to the forum and perhaps not possible with the software?

"PLEASE NOTE - the banners below are linked to the sponsors own forum NOT their web site."

A quick scroll through the "help" forums shows that the item has been raised before, but didn't have the item addressed.

I just thought it would be handy as often if looking at the sponsor forum it is convenient to be able to just click on a link to their website - and this will also be a bonus for the sponsors.

    Cheers

Yes tis strange. I was trying to get Jim Carrols, which didn't seem to come up on those random ones on the side. Took a bit of finding. I googled in the end.

    Oops - Oversight....

They were originally on the home page and were meant to link directly into their forum and not their web site.

When they came off the home page and went town the side bar they continued in their respective forums but an oversight has left those in their forums linking to the forum instead of their web sites. I'll try to fix them all over the next few days as and when time allows.

    Thanks Neil,

It wasn't a huge problem but it does make it easier to get to the sponsors websites when needed.
