    Default Contacting moderators...

    Seeing as how we have a slew of moderators now, more than I can point a stick at (well... more than I can affor ammo for, anyway ) is there any way we can quickly get the attention of one of 'em? I know each has their own "area of patrol," but many seem to be overlapping.

    For example, let's say a thread is in the wrong forum and I want to respond... but don't 'cos it's in the wrong spot. I know I could, and hope the appropriate mod notices and moves it to the correct forum eventually BUT is there anywhere we can just post a msg. to quickly flag the mod's (or any "idle" mod for that matter) attention?

    Something like the "Report Post" button, perhaps?
    I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

    Don't see how a misplaced post quite meets those criteria.

    Report post sends a message to all the 'super mods' and you can add a message in there.

    I suppose that would be the best way.
    If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

    Skew, on the left hand side of every post, under the posters details is this little symbol .
    Click on it if you believe the post needs to be brought to the super moderators attention. Not only does a thread appear in the administration area (yes it does exist you just can't see it) but a "reported post" email is sent to all of the supermods, admins and if there is any - moderators of that section.

    This is the quickest way to get our attention, and I'm sure that none of us would mind if it was for something like a post in the wrong section. Any one of us would happily relocate etc if neccessary

    The bit about "This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts." is only there because no one can figure out how the hell to remove or change it.

    Please feel free to use the Report Post button to fix any problems. It is the fastest and easiest way to contact any of us and the best way to get a reasonably quick result.

    There may well appear to be a slew of us but it is still a 24 hour forum and there are often long periods of time when there are no mods or admins available. Moderators and Admins all unpaid volunteers and all of us have real jobs that take us away from the forums for long periods. The Report Post icon is by far the best way to get the attention of at least one of us in a reasonably short space of time.
