Default Google Chrome browser and the forums

I have been looking around a few websites today with Google's new browser BETA version called Chrome. I have not found any issues with the forums at all. The browser is definitely faster and handles graphics better. The shortcuts appear to be the same as Firefox (In fact, Google acknowledge using Mozilla and other open source code, and have made Chrome itself open source).

So, short version for admin is it works well, for me anyway.

It is better than Firefox, IE, Opera etc speed wise, surprising really. Only thing I do not like so far is it does not allow me to synch bookmarks. I rely on that feature quite a bit when travelling around.

I carry a portable version of FireFox around with me on a USB stick so there's no need to synch anything

The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

Don't think it's faster than Firefox 3 but on a par depending on connection. Would like to be able to have full WYSIWAYG in message box but can live without it. Seems to be emulating Opera which has the exact same problem.

The one thing I really do like is the resizable message box. Would like to see that with all browsers. If you haven't found it yet.... When you reply to this message down in the bottom right hand corner of the text screen there's a drag tag... No not a bloke in a dress, just a tag that you click on and drad, to enlarge the text area.

    Bloody fantastic.

    Cheers - Neil
