    Default What happened to my post?

    I posted in this thread Here a few days ago and now I find the post isn't there. Where did it go? I don't think the post was offensive to anyone, it was regarding a lathe that a member had put up a thread about. I didn't give it much thought until this morning when I was reading through another thread and one of the other members (boomeranginfo) mentioned that he had already posted in the thread and it now was missing. Can anyone enlighten me.? Is it just one of those things that happen?

    There are no deleted or moved posts in that thread so maybe you didn't post it in that one, but another by mistake. This isn't exactly uncommon.

    Either that or for some reason the post didn't work, but that's very doubtful.

    Sometimes, a post seems to take forever for the software to respond, and the poster sends again. Then we see double entries of the same post. The poster probably thought the software had gone walkabout. On your post, maybe the software really did seem to go into the weeds. "Software" includes everything between you and the forum, especially all Internet connections.
