Sorry Midge:
A few animals can see colour, including man and the other primates, fish, amphibians, and some birds. But most of these animals have a relatively primitive form of colour vision limited to blue and yellow light.
It is only a small group of primates, including humans, that can see the full range of colours ranging from red to green as well as blue-yellow."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

Something to do with rods and cones. The cones are self-evident, not sure what they do with the rods...

Avatars....Hmph
Can't upload Avatars..... Hmph have a look to the left of your posts midge.
Sorry mate but I can find no problem this end and it worked for me without a problem. Took 30 seconds to steal the lil buzzer from your home page (which by the way looks very professional and should shape up very well as it proceeds) and stick it into your Avatar.
Cheers - Neil
PS send me the avatar you are trying to load and I will see if there is a problem with it.56 Rock n Roll rebel....... Too old to die young and too young to be an old fart. Guess I'll just keep on rockin and refuse grow old gracefully.
