We are lucky that the forums themselves have been recovered.

When the main hard drive starts making crunching sounds it means we have a big problem. Steven has worked tirelessly for many many hours to restore the forums to what we have now.

I am still on the road coming back from Bris WWWShow and haven't been able to get on the the net at all except for a hook up of 14.8 kbps which was painful.

In Golbourn NSW tonight and able to hook on through pretty quick dsl line, so have been able to get a bit of info.

Think you'll find that your post and many others won't have been on the latest backup of the site before it fell over so there could be quite a few missing threads and posts.

For now we should all be thankful we still have a forum.

    Cheers - Neil

Hey Neil? Ive got an idea for a new forum area... how about a meet and great section? you know so Ive got somewhere to put me reviews? I mean Ive just had the Derek and hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to review the Ramps... but where to put them is the question? sorta in the woodworking section was my first thought then maybe the intro setion but neither seemed appropriate you know? I actually considered posting "review of the Derek" in the woodwhispering sheilas section!

Anyway Cheers back to you Neil

    Yeah worth doing again Sheddie.
Have you given them a workout yet or did they all need their hoops seated first?
I look forward to your post.

I'll repost my jap chisel brag in the Hand Tools and Machinery forum later tonight. Haven't had a chance yet and the hoops and ferrules are set.
