    Default Idiotic first posts

    Here's some food for thought.

It occurred to me today that over the years we've seen some absolutely brain numbing first posts. I'm talking about somebody who logs in, registers and puts up some ridiculous post about something way off the beam.

I'm NOT talking about those asking woodworking questions, no matter how simple they may seem. Those are where most of us began.

But the spam, stupid, hard to believe or even impossible to understand keep popping up every now and again.

Perhaps we should start filing them away and make it like a Xmas bloopers thread where they all get put and give us a bit of a laugh.

    Just a thought.

The bloke looking for the carpenters from the Morgan building would have to be right up there.

Do you think you could give us some kind of subtle clue where we might be able to find some of those posts Gumby?

Here is the one from the guy looking for the carpenters from the Morgan building.
    Regards,
    Ian.

A larger version of my avatar picture can be found here. It is a scan of the front cover of the May 1960 issue of Woodworker magazine.
