    Default PM storage???

How much room is in our PM storage?? It sure does not seem much at all. Is there a way we can get this boosted up?? Some sites you can over 500--1000 messages before we have to delete some.

Why on earth would you want to keep that many messages?
Are you starting an email list or something else that needs to have 1000 saved messages?
You're not up to something sinister are you?

    You can:
    Download Private Messages as:
    XML | CSV | Text

You can also save to a file if you want to keep them all. Even my storage is only have 100 I could have more but no earthly reason why I would want them. I delete the ones I don't want and if I need to, I send the others as .txt to a storage file on my computer. So far I have NONE saved on the computer.

    Cheers - Neil

PS We have reasonably liberal messaging on WWF.
Not as stupidly open as some, but then we are more interested in saving our members from being spammed via PM

Well Neil I do not know about you but I like to have some of my PM messages saved to the site so I do not have to go searching all over for them. When communicating by PM to ask questions or answer questions it does take up quite a few. I do not know how many we are allowed but it does seem quite less than other forums. I will work around it but was just wondering if it could have been increased. Thanks. I just noticed it is a total of 60 messages allowed and that includes receiving and sending. Wow that is low.

If you want to store messages on the forum you can try the following:

Click on Notifications > Edit Folders (left side column under My Messages) > Add New Folders > Save

You can call the new files In Saved and Out saved or something similar and the files will be housed in the My Messages section can transfer any or all files by selecting the messages and clicking on Selected Messages at the bottom of the messages and selecting the file you want to transfer them to.

    Cheers - Neil
