Default Reverse search , Market Place ,searching for titles NOT containing the word SOLD

Is there a way of reverse searching in the market place forums, searching for threads that do not contain a keyword or string ? In this case creating a search for threads that do not have the word "SOLD" in the title ?

    Thanks

Not that I’m aware of, have you tried via Google?

Google has a function where you can search within a specific forum, something along the line of "site:woodworkforums"

You'll need to go to google to find how to do it

This is along the lines of what you want (but not exactly) for google search.
you have to replace (dot) with . (I had to do this as the page was getting resolved in the post).

    -sold site:www(dot)woodworkforums(dot)com/f222

This will search the Timber sales section for threads that don't contain the word sold.

To search a particular section of the marketplace, go to that section to find the page. For example, Miscellaneous is f226
    so the search there is

    -sold site:www(dot)woodworkforums(dot)com/f226

    Hope this helps,

    Jeff

Just be aware that this may also catch threads where someone says something like "I SOLD one like it last year".

It will probably never pick out a thread where someone is selling a "SOLDering iron", or similar.

Better than nothing but there's room for error.
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.
