    Hasn't happened today but has been regular. I'll PM you if I get it again.

    Never happens on other forums just this one... wonder why?
    I've learned (the hard way) to pre-write my replies in Notebook or other word processor, so I don't lose the text when/if the connection goes off the rails. Attachments still need to be re-done by hand, but usually don't have attachments in replies.

    It is caused by the heated discussions on climate change.

    I've copped quite a few over the last few weeks, but it doesn't seem to be any particular time period to me.

    The only "common" thing about the occurrences seem to be that, for me, they occur at around 20mins past the hour (AEST), almost any hour, so I've been assuming they're periodic maintenance loads on the server.

    I'm probably wildly off base though. Not that that'd be anything new.
    I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

    Who's on first base?

    happens to me too, the server telling me I can't get in, but you get that in life

    I get the server is down bit, hit the refresh on your browser etc.
    I make things, I just take a long time.

    Been getting "The Server is busy" for the last 10 mins or so... from 15:25 'til just then. (15:34)

    I've copped a few "server too busy" responses;
    plus several login rejections - "you have entered the wrong name or password".
    Now k_s is not too hard to spell and my browser remembers my password - so?????????
    Have a good one

    It hasn't happened to me since I started this thread. Maybe that's another fix

    Cliff take the calicivirus as a compliment, you stop others from rabbiting on!
