Default Short outage tonight 18th october 2022

    Hi all

Just letting you know there will be an outage for approx. 2 hours tonight while we move the site to upgraded (faster) server infrastructure. It will begin at about 6:30pm.

After the server move you might notice a secure certificate error for up to 30 minutes. It is safe to skip through this error in this instance.

We're still working through some minor issues, the one with the most impact is emails are being blocked. Will Update here once that has been solved.

A big thank you to Steven for finally getting the forums on to the upgraded server.

Started at 6:30pm last night 18th and after 3 goes finally got it all on around 04:10 this morning. He's still working through a few problems and could be for a number of hours throughout the day

I checked the move at 3:00am this morning and it was still not all done.

Metalwork Forums also had a few problems overnight after being moved the previous night 17th.

Once the forum loads, it should be running a little faster and be more stable as Stevan has said.

We will also be looking to change the forums program from vBulletint. But that's a matter for another time in the very near future

In the meantime, if you come across any problems that may have been caused by the move, please let us know by the Contact Us link on the navigation bar at the
bottom of all pages. After Steven gives the all clear for emails working again.

    Cheers - Neil

    Default trivial - favicon.ico missing

per subject... its the default for the software.

Its buggering up my bookmarks bar on my new Firefox

BTW ALL.... get Firefox. The new one is incredible. I moved from it a year or so back because of dev niggles, to Brave (Chromium based), but after a recent Firefox update thought to give it a go. It is VERY good.
