Yup, me too (and happy to contribute). Everyone can also make sure they can regularly buy U-Beaut's Products. I'm proud of the fact I do

Dorno, I tried IE9 the other day (briefly). It seemed more sensitive to heavy server loads than Chrome or Firefox. IE seems to error more often than the others. I've also spoken to another member who had problems with IE, he was running in "compatability mode". When he exited that mode it actually became compatible with the forums and his problem went away!

As the load reduces on the server we are hoping these issues will gradually go away.

    Hi Groggy

one problem I have is loosing my typing if I navigate away from the "post quick reply" box during a response
using win 7, 64 bit and IE 9.0.8112.16421

    symptom is
I start typing a response, leave the "reply box" to check something or look something up, come back to the "box" and finish typing and click "Post Quick Reply"

IE 9 then hangs -- telling me the forums has stopped responding
I'm offered the option of "recover", but when I attempt same I loose what I've typed
    regards from Alberta, Canada

Ok. I give up. Saw a thread asking about whether this forum has changed, and someone pointed to this thread, which explains nothing on even the first page. So the question still remains AFAICS.

Or am I missing the obvious?

    Thanks guys.

As a short fix ... pressing <ctrl>-A <ctrl>-Ins will highlight and copy all your text ... that way if you have to start over, you can paste it back in with <shift>-Ins.
Alternatively compose a message in notepad, then copy and paste.

I was bitten on a long post in the very beginning ... a year or so ... and have done this ever since

jemijona, it would help if you state the question you want answered or point us back to the thread you are referring to.

The forum has been upgraded, there were messages posted and announcements made.
