Default waste/drain for a bath tub and floor waste

Hi, I am planning on pulling out my shower and putting in a bath, my bathroom is small so I have limited movement, the drain is to the side of the shower, if the shower waste is not alined with the bath waste whole is there a way to fix this.

Sor for such a stupid question but I am new to DIY and cant aford to pay a pro to do the job as I have just bought my first place.

Also I am going to rip up the tiles and re tile the floor, one quick question, the floor wast the tiles slop into it to drain the waster, I have read some books on tiling but none tell you how to get the drainage to work they all say you have to tile on a level.

    Thanks...

We had the same issue when we put a new bathtub in - the plughole was in the middle of the new bath and the old bath had the waste up one end. You can use 90 degree bends and a length of pipe to match up with your new bath. Only problem you may have (as we had) is that the bathtub must sit up higher from the ground to accommodate the pipework. Hope this helps.

    Default Thanks for the tips

Looks like this is what I will have to do. Humm now how to get the bath up enough and not have to cut into the wall to seal it of.
