Just a few of my 10 students' tables. Just plain old radiata pine tarted up a bit.
Tapered legs, dovetailed or domino joints. a little stain and a few coats of shellac.
Overall, I think they are happy with what that have done in a few months.
    Simple little tables.

Everyone has to take a first step.
They have done well and you have the satisfaction of teaching them

Great to see school projects. It seems that a number of schools are only teaching micky mouse versions of woodwork now.
My son produced a great table in year 10 guided by a great teacher. After that the teacher got promoted and the projects since have not been of the same standard or technical difficulty.

Nice work Kevjed, you can't do that on a mobile phone!

Simple tables, yes, but it makes me think about all the fundamentals they've learned.
