AlexS - Yes huge satisfaction, as I said earlier I spent an hour looking at it during a recital.
Midge - I feel more comfortale doing this sort of work than making a canoe (serious) and what sort of busker organ are you doing?? Sounds interesting.
AB - Mum and Dad spent 6 weeks in germany last year and Mum got upset cause Dad stpped at every single church they passed to have a look at the organ.
Clinton - I just remembered that the bars were welded at the joins not wired together.
Harry - Pretty damn goodHave a nice day - Cheers

Although I am a minister I have an intense dislike for organs (and I know other ministers who feel the same way).
HOWEVER ... that is still an amazing piece of work you guys did there! Stunning. If only it sounded as good as it looks.
Cheers -- and keep up the aswesome work!

GW - I do understand that. They are a very antiquitated(sp?) instrument and are percieved by some clergy to be the old way. I know that Dad's church are shying away from their organ and pushing towards more modern instruments. Dad has a huge problem with this for obvious reasons.
I am not a huge fan of the music, but I love the instrinsic nature of there workings. This organ is electric action (all of the valves are opened by electric solenoids) but the real organs, tracker action where all of the keyboards are connected to the pipes by solids linkages, that is spectactular.Have a nice day - Cheers

Well said. Musical tastes aside, they are amazing machines, and always will be.
