Very impressed with your list for 2005 John
But then the air is cooler in Paignton, so makes you work harder to keep warm right?

    Mine.
Large shoe rack for daughter and husband - he's got big feet!
    Louvred lamp AWM no.37
Roll around TV stand - wedding present for friend. AWM no. 9
Futon, sofa bed AWM no. 38
Wall cabinet, curved doors AWW no 42
Morris chair AWM No 41 pus the stool to go with it.

    Bedside Cabinets x 2
Toy money-box truck - for a sick little boy.
The last two from Time series custom woodworking and US Woodsmith Mag.
The others from Australian Woodsmith magazine.
I've learn't so muchfrom the above. I think AWM has the most detailed and accurate drawings. Its not far from being idiot proof. Fine woodworking is great but they do seem to assume a degree of skill and know how already.
The are on a higher plane than I have reached at this stage.
And all the above part time since I was still working - retiring this Sat. 31/12!

So surprised myself when I startedcounting up and checking material dockets. 10 in all so around 5 weeks each

I feel rather inadequate seeing that list. What do you have planned for 2006?

J.stevens. Congratulations on reaching your pending retirement, regret to inform you that you will most probably have less free time for some of your planned projects.
You will be astonished the way time flies and new burdens you will take on.

P.S. (the temperature is minus 2c this morning and no kind of woodwork would warm me up)
