    Default Adirondack Chair

Finished this the other day, (still have to apply some oil though).

This is the first time for years that I’ve followed a plan, I generally nut it out for myself. The experience was quite relaxing though and very easy. I only made a few minor changes.

The chair is of the Adirondack design very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. The timber is recycled Jarrah.

The missus has now ordered another 3 and a table to match "oh no what have I done!!!!"

    Cheers

    Dave

    Davo,

That looks like Norm's Adirondack chair. I followed Norm's plan without making any modification for my two chairs.

Aaaah that’s very similar Rocker but Norm’s has a curved back mine is flat, not that flat’s any better (probably worse).

The plan I have I bought on line from Woodsmith magazine (can’t find the URL just now) the only change I made was to the back leg and to the slat size mainly to work around the size of and defects in the timber I used.

    Cheers

    Dave
