Default Bed made out of offcuts

Had a decent pile of short offcuts accumulated over time.. so decided to make something out of it..
made a jig for cutting octagonal and got onto it... about 1000 something pieces later finally had enough of material..

Glued it all up onto panels being careful that wood grain goes same way
Set it all up and then did the bed head out of leather pieces...

That is the definition of patience. And, of course, skill.

    Very, very nice!

also did bedsides.. used the excess of the octagonal and square offcuts for kickboard and a handles to match the bed
planned to do the whole thing same as bed.. but wifey disagreed

What a unique design and build, well done. Something very special.
