    Veeeeerrrryy niiiiice!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sort of art nouveau meets sam maloof.
    Did you only make one?
The blackwood suits it superbly, nice choice of timber.
I hope you get to sit in it often while enjoying a nice glass and a meal.
I'd certainly be pretty satisfied sitting in it if I had made it.
    Cheers and congrats

yeah its my own design was made as a student, this was the chair project! took ages to make, making 6-8 would have been quite a task as all the joinery and shaping was done by hand!

What a beautiful design. That is stunning to say the least.

    Wow...
Half lap joints on-the-job back pieces?
Damn there's a lot of work in that and some VERY accurate cutting!
    Well done..

cheers guys, yeah half laps. im guessing the most difficult half lap job i'll do haha did it with marking knife, LN rebating plane and chisels. The rest of the joinery is pretty much mortise and tenons with the front leg to seat joint twin wedged through m+t's
