Blackwood Coffee Table

I don't think the photo resolution does the joints justice.
Nice grain and beautiful rich colour.
To be honest this needs to be a heavy unit so it doesn't tip over once the drawer is filled with magazines etc.
Nice stuff Lignum.
Read about the wall unit again - can't find the finish? I'm interested as I am seeking a good table top finish.Cheers

Nice table
love the shape and looks like it will go well with the other "piece" BUT have to ask:
........any reason you skipped on a more traditional take on the draw n joinery??? a roll out draw that looks like its butted together just dosent seem like you:confused:

That is a serious coffee table Lignum.
I like the verticle grain on the sides and agree with you on the use of oil on blackwood.Scally
