    Talking Our new bookshelf

I saw a similar design online somewhere but can't find it again. If I do I will be sure to credit the original creator.

Anyway, it's a simple bookshelf with a little feature piece. Victorian Ash shelves stained with Jarrah stain and a shellac coating on top. The oregon/douglas fir was finished with Dewaxed White Shellac and EEE.

Sorry about the photo quality - just taken with my iPhone.

    Cheers,
    Af.

Thanks Harry. We wanted something simple but with a little bit of difference. It looks great now filled up with books and photos and such.

    Thanks for the comments Mickelmaster.

I find Vic Ash fine for your generic type woodworking. Readily available at the saw mill near home so that's why I chose to use it to be honest!

I've never turned before so I'm not sure how it might turn. Where's Oxenford? I'd be happy to post over a small turning block from some scraps that I have if you want? Just PM me.

    Cheers,
    Af.
