    Default Box Finished

Hi all, the latest box is finished, aussie oak & clear shellac.I
got asked to rout the new owners name on the lid , I wasn't sure if it'd be good enough but was pretty happy with the result especially after a weekend
also a pic of the last 2 together in the back yard

    cheers Gary

Great boxes Gary and the routing looks great . I guess every farmer had a sunshine seed drill and it looks as though you found a lot of them . Good to see them being recycled in such an artistic way .
I've just become an optimist . Iv'e made a 25 year plan -oopps I've had a few birthdays - better make that a 20 year plan

Very nice. Very reminiscent of a goal box my grandparents had by the chip heater in the early 60's.

Do you have the cast iron ends (assuming they are) made locally for you and are they expensive.

Yeah Dusty, the ends are off farms around the place and are at least 50 years old, I still have a reasonable supply so I can keep busy for a while.
