Default A smaller work box, for a patchworker to use.

    Hi all,
It appears that Quilters and Patchworkers prefer smaller boxes to keep their work in, so here's one made for them. This one is about 360mm x 220mm x 200mm.

It's figured Red Gum carcass, with QLD Maple inlay and tray support. The tray itself is made from some figured Silky Oak. Hinges are 90 degree stop hinges from Veneer Inlay Australia. The top is some reclaimed Tassie Blackwood, with some highly figured Red Gum as a border.
The finish is hard burnished Natural Teak Oil.

    Regards,

    Rob

Very nice job on the box. I'm starting to get a little envious of all the incredible woods you have to work with in Australia.
