Thanks, Alex...for spare time - at the moment, {apart from my WWF time & family time, playing music (bass guitar, Danita on lead/acoustic/digi-piano, younger daughter on acoustic) & some social life}...helping our youngest 3 kids build a model size cob round house complex!! Clay, stone, eager little kids (4, 7 & 10 y.o.) & lots of fun and washing generated:eek: !!! Good way to teach them about passive solar design, sustainable building, etc. and have a load of fun at the same time! I'm off to do some work on the french doors, now. Now that we have you all keeping an eye on our time schedule, we can't afford to stop!!
Cheers,
Jill

But the opportunity to see that house... I'd go without beer at a bbq to see it.

I'm flattered, Crom - it'd be a couple of hours' drive for you, though. We'll keep it in mind!

Heyyy, what are you doing dragging up this old post, Wayne - do I consider myself nudged?!! I do have some stuff to take pics of - but some not finished, yet. You know - art to do, places to go, cows to play midwife to, etc., etc....!! It's harder to do much in the afternoons (after Steve gets home from work) now as it gets dark so early, and is so jolly cold - I bought myself a (dark pink!!) beanie for building - wonder if that will scare the rubbish out of the timber & tools?!
Thanks for the kick - I'll be back with some more pics.
Cheers,
Jill

Lol, Wayne - can a cow and calf really have enough cuddles?!!
Did I just hear a whip crack?!!
Okay, boss - next week, I will do my best to do some more, and update you with some pics!

continuously working on all these boring, mindless McMansions is sending me round the bend. I need a healthy dose of class, creativity and style, plus a dash of rustic to keep me going...
apologies for the whipCheers

No worries, Wayne - I need a bit of a boost along right now - even tho' there's not a lot I can do until the limestone arrives, now! Once it gets here we'll be going flat out to get walls up ASAP. Steve ordered me some paver blocks so I can build my little alcoves into the walls! Should be fun.
Cheers,
Jill

Wow - Alcoves!!! Whatever next! I agree with The Pope, I need another fix too
I hope your fingers don't freeze when you are working with all that limestone and pavers.
Cheers Jill
