Camphor Chest of Drawers
Made from local camphor laurel, ecclectic design, with the 1/4 columns turned by a friend.
Drawers are through dovetailed with false fronts, full extension runners.
Approx: 1200 x 1200 x 500mm

Camphor
I's really great to see camphor being used so well as a cabinet timber, which it deserves, and not just being burnt at the loacal sugar mill.

Hi Cruzi
Pretty Impressive Chest of Drawers. I think you get the Camphor Crown now
I like the cockbeading. It's added that extra little bit of something that's not identified unless you know about it.
Echoing Superbunnny here, but if possble, please may we have photo of inside the drawers?
Did you use a secondary timber for the drawer sides/back/floor? What finish did you choose?
Will you keep it for yourself?
cheers

Beautiful work. I really like the design. Also interested in the finish.

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."
