    Default Card Leaf Coffee Table

    G'day mates,

I would like to share some pictures of a Card Leaf Coffee Table I finished about 6 months ago. It has since been functioning as a table for my kids' games and Legos.

Top is Walnut while the legs are Tassie Oak, all from Lumber Bunker.

Joinery for lower stretchers to legs are M&T while the top rails to legs are dovetail bridle joint (pardon my mistake if I named the joint incorrectly). All work is performed via hand tools.

Finish is Sam Maloof with Ubeaut traditional wax.

This project has taught me much about using my tools, jointing and finishing timber. It has been a good learning experience.

I would like to thank all members for your willingness to share and advise, without which I don't think I'll be posting any pictures.

    Cheers

    Gunn

    .
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

Also it's lovely you thanked all the members for their advice. (and you made me realise I have forgotten this in the past) We truly do have an amazing resource at our fingertips.
