Waldo, I think I was a bit hard on you and I am sorry.Bob
"If a man is after money, he's money mad; if he keeps it, he's a capitalist; if he spends it, he's a playboy; if he doesn't get it, he's a never-do-well; if he doesn't try to get it, he lacks ambition. If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

Its nice to have a whole week off work. I can get lots of work done.
I made this jig and used a CMT planner bit to plane the legs.

Timber
Scott, when you showed me the chair pieces earlier this week, I've got to admit I was surprised at how well the timber worked, it seems to be 'cleaner' and sharper than cedar and the colour and grain much better than I would have thought after seeing the raw slabs; they seemed more 'orangy'.
I don't know also if all forum readers have noted that you have laminated the bendy bits.....3 x 4mm pieces.... the amount of work in putting this together...... rather you than me!
Beautiful work Scott.

Thanks Greg, the back slats were quite a bit of work. They are all done and will be cut to length when the other parts are ready.

The legs were cut to length. It is important to know where the reference points are, otherwise feet won't stand flat and square.
Clean up inside of the legs with a scraper.Visit my website at www.myFineWoodWork.com
