Cloths horse
My latest project a cloths horse, made in recycled Jarrah, The photo highlights that the colour match could have been a lot better but it’s not really noticeable on the actual piece.
Funny how I can always find time to make furniture but never get around to putting the skirting on the house.
Cheers

Very nicely done, I quite like how the colour is different, quite effective.
Is Jarrah the timber of the month or something?? :confused:Brett
Only Robinson Crusoe could get everything done by Friday!

When you live in WA it’s tempting to use Jarrah for most things as it’s a pretty wood and plentiful in the recycling yards, I bought a total of approx 32 meters x 25 cm wide 30mm thick rough sawn preloved timber this morning for $90 (more than I usually pay). I have to denail it and work around the odd defect but it’s worth it.
The floor does look nice in the photo and it is durable but it’s a laminated floating floor, finances couldn’t run to the timber stuff and having large dog’s they would scratch the real stuff anyway.
Cheers
