Thread: First Coffee Table

Thanks everyone for the comments and encouragement.

Timberbits - Yeah they are mortise and tenon joints. I should have taken photos throughout the build but I never thought about it - I always like seeing how other people do things and how the work progresses from stock to finished article.

My current project is another coffee table but this time I cheated. My wife wanted a table with turned legs to match our other furniture, but I bought the legs on Ebay because I don't have a lathe. Maybe that would have been a good enough excuse to go lathe shopping?

Dude. I would of bought the lathe without even thinking about it. By SWMBO asking for that kind of coffee table implies permission to buy a lathe.
