Default Two Cuff link or Ring Boxes

    Hi all,

One is made of Red Gum and the other is Zebrano and Wenge. Zebrano is not pleasant to work with hand tools I have to say!
Finish is Scandinavian Oil and UBeaut Traditional Wax. The boxes are about 370mm x 200mm and about 45-50mm high. The inserts are black vinyl.

    Regards

    Rob

    Hi John,

The stay on the Red Gum box is a ball chain stay set, which I bought from "Wood N Workshop" for the princely sum of $4.95 for two. They're quite good really. The hinges are just straight butt hinges. I probably would go with 90 degree stop hinges next time, but I didn't have any when I made this box. You can get good stop hinges from Boxmakers' Brassware

    Regards,

    Rob
