    Default Cutlery Box, Carver

We had a cutlery set given to us for xmas, and the other half thought a nice wooden box instead of the cardboard one would look nicer.

This is the result, it is made from some old tassie oak boards (i think) l had in the shed. I am still looking for some thin foam to line the lid with.

I think the cardboard box would have been a better option Tim

Nice work. Should get you some brownie points. The yellow cup give the image a nice touch .

The type of foam as used for mouse mats is good for lining boxes. It cuts to a nice clean edge and is durable without being too thick.

    Nice work.
what's on the inside holding the cutlery up. Did you make an insert and if so, how do you get all the slots even
