    Default Desktop

    No.1 son wanted to expand his desk area for his PC.
    I said ok as long as you do it and to his credit the top is almost done.

    The timber is oregan with a rimu border, finished with 5 coats of wipe on poly and one full coat for a good hard surface.

    The top fits into an alcove in his bedroom so will be supported on three sides with wall brackets. The monitor stand is already made and will be fitted next with shelving and a suspended computer housing underneath.

    Its hard to motivate sleepy 17yr olds but hes doing a good job so far.
