    Default Dining Table

What a relief, as good as finished.
made from second-hand ironbark (that's what they said it was).
had to send the boards for the top to a joinery for squaring.
this timber is unbelievably dense and heavy and really hard work sanding.

design is copied from a mate's table.
anyhow when i look at it now i kinda like it.

Very nice job, dense and heavy sure sounds like Ironbark, well done.

the finish is not finished so to speak.
i wanted to try the estapol/tung oil/boiled linseed mix
but had no tung oil, so just used 50/50 estapol/linseed for fun.
needs another coat or two to see if it works.

    Hi Thanaka,

What they said. Very nice clean lines. I like Ironbark, tough stuff and I am sure your table won't blow over in a breeze either.

    Cheers
