    Default Dolls House

    Hi all,

I stumbled across these pics of my Daughter's Dolls House & I thought I would post them.

When I made this, I had my dads old Skill circular saw & a $60 bunnings own brand (made by GMC) router. I had just bought my table saw when I had to make the roof.

Some time later, I made this little table for the doll's house to sit on, or rather, in.

It has no top & the house sits inside the frame & on top of the legs.

Nice dolls house. You gonna make the furniture too?
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Zen, Any one can make a big box, but it takes a craftsperson to make a small one. I saw those tiny boxes you made. If they were made from 19mm & kept to the same scale, I recon I could do it, but tiny little chairs could be well beyond my patients level. We bought Em's dolls house furniture, but my baby is all grown up now & she doesn't play with her dolls house as much as she used to. Afterall, she is nearly eight.

I do have to make her a new table & chairs when I finish the bookcase I am currently working on as she has out grown the first one (my first woodwork project) that I made her.
