Drinks table
I wanted a challenge to build something, so I decided to try my had at a smallish mid height drink table, in a stand off Japanese style. I only used recycled hardwood from a local "Junkyard ". I did the legs first using 4x2 timber which made the legs a bit on the skinny side, but hey who hasn't . It has a floating table top made from ripped down 4x2's and that sits on 6x19mm dowels, which are the only new timber used on the table, managed to not use nails or screws, just glue, dowels and mortise and tenon joints. Might have to make some stools now to match..

That's come up really nice and given that beautiful old timber a new lease of life.
