    Default Embroider box revisited

Earlier this year the embroidery box from designs given me by AlexS was finished. Wood finish has now been applied, shellac and then wax polished to the outsides only.

Finally photographs attached shewing contents, (A lot less expensive than jewellery )

I said it before, and I'll say it again: love this design. Well done.

Owing to overflow on the original embroidery box a further box is in the process of construction as per two photographs below. Work however is now suspended for a few days whilst we do some local travels.

Box is ready for base and beading to be added plus a drawer for the lower opening and then a lid to be started.

Great looking ,,,,...thingy.. it kinda hard to place it in any type of furniture category
but very nice.. Did Alix design it?

Is there any thing from stoping the drawars from coming out to far and snaping the front of the that rails off?

P.S. Is there the pallet your saw came on your cutting up

I dont know whether to take that as a compliment or not.

AlexS gave me the details for the 5 drawer jewellery box when we visited because I was attracted to its design. If drawers were hung on the last 2" the leverage could cause a problem so support from a hand would be advisable.
