At that rate you could finish up with a white Christmas yourselves.

The gardener never turned up, not that I blame him, we had around 2" of rain during the day with gale force winds, it was drafty in the shop too. So I moved back indoors, the dining room and then the kitchen as usual.
Glued up the front and rear frame as per pics below, I used a roll of poly bags to separate the pieces to avoid sticking together and also between the board and frames.
I shall complete the cross pieces hopefully tomorrow and tidy up the frames and hoping the drawers and sliders all line up.
In the meantime if you have the time come and have a look at our weather again this morning at:

But I wish I had turned up in Perth today and getting this:

Stop Press.
Couldn't wait to finish off the other joints, I had to have another setup.
Frames reasonably square.
First lot of boxes in with sliders in place.
All boxes and sliders together with top lids in place and fit.
Looks if I was rather optomistic about finishing this weekend, more horizontal bars to joint plus rear vertical frames plus a top handle and the 13 drawer handles etc etc etc etc.woody U.K.

After the excitement of finding that all boxes and sliders fitted as per the last posted picture above had died down, the lady has been pointing out her shopping list had been growing all week and things were getting desparate in the larder area, this meant starting up the car and heading to the supermarket. However I did manage to do some marking up after the return from the shops and hopefully the next 7 days should be peaceful on that front.

Getting there mate.
Starting to look rather interesting. Only the final frames, panels, etc, plus that all that finishing and scraping, and polishing, and...
Cheers!

13 boxes x 8 tails= 104
13 boxes x 8 pins= 104

12 cross joints.

Eureka! (seem to remember that word from a film in the 1950's about gold mining in Australia)
All frames have now been completed and since the photograph taken the joints have been cleaned up using a belt and the an orbital sander. Therefore its back to the kitchen this evening to do the last gluing on the frames setup.
Does anyone know how long after using those two part epoxy glues you can go back to work on a joint without upsetting the glues set?
I've got those 26 sliders to put in and they cannot be stuck in at one session because of fitting.woody U.K.

Thanks Zenwood,
I read somewhere that some one had mixed PVA and epoxy into a joint at the same time, do you know anything about that one.?
I'm wanting to speed up the process if when fitting the sliders now the frames are firmly fixed there might be adjustments and then needing some gap filling adhesive but wanting a fast turnaround. (pva can be worked after one hour)woody U.K.
