That is why my rocker plans are such good value at US$25 (plus $10 postage and handling) And my rockers are more comfortable to sit in too.

That is my current project. I cannot take credit for the design which, from memory, was one of Kelly Mehler's pieces. This picture was published some time ago in Fine Woodworking, so you may find it if you have back copies. No other details other than it was an example of work made using one board (the drawers are evidence of this). I loved the design and decided to build my own variation as a chest of drawers for my son. I have planned to build the carcass and drawers out of cyprus pine with the base (skirting) and top out of jarrah, with jarrah Shaker knobs.

So far I have finished the carcass and attached the skirting. I am just gluing up the top and hope to begin on the drawers this weekend.

Here is a pic of the assembled carcass (minus skirting - no picture available as yet).

I have liked this project so much that I have kept pictures of the progress. Perhaps I'll post them once it is all completed if anyone is interested. A picture strip of chest of drawers construction.

No Derek, You still haven't got it.

All you have done is post a shortcut to the picture.

I also just noticed the title of the picture you are using. Try also renaming the picture to something like chest1.jpg. It is possible that VB doesn't like something in your filename.

You're right. It is just a shortcut. I changed the name of the picture file on my computer, and the pic on the website disappeared. The other pics are probably going to disappear when I change their names or disconnect from the forum.

Yes, they're gone.

No Derek, the pictures are still there. The shortcut is to the ubeaut site not to your computer. Try hitting the refresh button and see what happens.

Bugger me, no you aren't wrong, I am. It IS just a shortcut to my comp.

The reason mine stay up is because I have a permanent connection to the net, I just renamed mine too. I think that JOW's is somewhere on a different web site and that is the reason they are staying up. Not so bloody clever after all am I?

My original picture at the beginning is the picture from my own website which I have posted using IMG and copy /pasteing into the dialogue box that appears when you touch IMG.
You can type your own webpage address if you dont want to copy paste.
However I have not been able to put up a picture from the ubeat site (not my own pictures) but I think a picture from somebody s own site can be grabbed and pasted on.

Incidentally John, clicking on favourite links on your web site just takes you to the mortice jig details.
