Extreme Birdhouse # 33
Merry Christmas eveyone
Here is my last birdhouse of 2007 it is made from 120 year old reclaimed barnboard. It has 22 apartments .
This is the third time building this model.

the birds would need a house like that over there to stay warm with all the snow and all. nice job.
do you collect starta fees on all 22 apartments.

A real country lodge.
Bit worried about bird flu tho. with all that close living.

It takes anywhere from 2 days for the smaller houses and up to 6 weeks for the big ones.
The birds love them

What brand of bird finds the opening big enough to enter. What diameter is it?

I get a lot of sparrows and swallows in the large houses . The smaller houses i get Purple Martins . The holes are 1 1/4" and for Martins i make them 2 1/8" , i don,t know metric
