FIL's Workshop
I promised ages ago to post some pictures of my FIL's workshop. He was an instrument fitter with the RAAF and ventured into wood turning in retirement. The lathe he used is an old metal lathe, and he made the turning tools out of old files. SWMBO and I had a great weekend looking through the stuff. He gave it all to me, but there is so much that I haven't been able to sort it all out so that my shed is habitable again.

G'day Rossluck,
Lucky bloke.
My Grandad also made some round nose scrapers from old files and they hold their edge very well.
Would've been a great weekend to pour over the FIL's shed.
