Default finished drinking so what to do.........

    with the barrel.
Most people do things simply, but not this cantankerous sod.
Sat in one like this 35 years ago in Alabama and loved it, so when the opportunity came knocking got 2 for free.

Interesting research on making this though,
Indistructables had good looking plans until one starting putting things together then a lot of head scratching,
Youtube shows this guy from 2012. fair go about as exciting as watching paint dry, but he answered a few questions, but Id hate to try having a conversation with him.

Anyway her it is Adriondack chair.jpg

no glue, I like the contrast of brass screws and timber, 2 coats of commercial decking stain (was too flat) so a coat of Gloss Estapol very commercial I know.

Future plans....wife now wants one, a couple of side tables from remaining pieces then a (hopefully) half drum with a small Weber kettle fitted into top, converted to gas, filled with volcanic rock and ignite the gas and a warm little heat pit....hopefully it will work or else I'll kill myself having fun.
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

I like the look of that chair, it looks more comfortable than most Andirondak chairs, is aesthetically more pleasing.

    Default I like it...

... but my beloved would injure herself trying to lick the last possible remnants of red!

I wonder... if I could get hold of a Merlot barrel for her... and a rum barrel for me!

Chief Tiff ...another idea I am considering is a small port keg under the seat with its tap poking out the hole, easy access.

    That could be painful.

If you put a keg underneath with a tap in the front and a filling hole in the seat, you could have a never-ending supply of Dutch lager...

Nice work. D'arenberg has some of these at their winery. They cut slots in the arm rests for wine glasses.
