Fish Tank Stand
Hi all. Only new to these forums and after looking at some of the pics here (mighty good work too), I thought I'd put up my first bragging rights. I have just finished this fish tank stand after promising the wife that I'd build her one (6 years ago). Its made from radiata pine (not a lot of choice of timber here) stained with teak stain and finished in Cabots clear gloss. The top lifts off completely allowing easy access for cleaning. I added the sides because of the external filter that hangs over the edge of the tank. The filter can be easily lifted from the tank through the side access. Could have bought a new filter that hid underneath, but there was nothing wrong with the old one so I worked around it.

That's the classiest fishtank stand I've ever seen, Hick! And here's me thinking Gazza was the best thing to ever come out of Drouin! Well, apart from Rick Irwin... is he still around?

Nice Work!
Nice to see the good ol' radiata getting an outing on these forums in such fine style!
Cheers,
Dave...but together with the coffee civility flowed back into him
