fitting out "the shed"
as mentioned elsewhere, after3 years of accumulating equipment, and 12 months of attending auctions and closing down sales, I finally have my shed up and can move out of the garage to placate SWMBO, and to make myself a very happy man .
I have been reading the forums for quite some time now and got so many ideas and found the information and pictures so helpful, so I thought I'd post pics up as I set out my shed as a bit of a record as it (hopefully) turns from a cluttered mess to some order and perhaps someone may get some inspiration from my posts.
The 1st group are as the garage appears at the moment, full of all my acqusitions over the past years__________________________________________

stage 1
so the shed is finished, unfortunately because it replaced a packed garden shed, it is cluttered already so i have to do some sorting and put upanother garden shed before I can start. A mates nickname is "3 sheds" I wonder if I can overtake him . The shelves in pic 3 are full of drawer slides, hinges handles etc I scored at a kitchen manufacturer closing down. It's sad to see so many of these businesses closing down but I have to admit, I've been having a ball attending the auctions looking for bargains. I'm sure I now have everything I need to get on with it.

Looks like you need a clear out already. Should be great once you get on with it
What's the steel device visible in the middle of the last pic? Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

That's it, the funny thing it's in there "out of the way" not for heating. My missus is the opposite to me. She likes the spartan tidy look so everything's off the patio (and into my shed ). In case you missed it I'm a hoarder which can add to the frustration cos I'm continually moving, sorting, searching for things. That's why this shed will be full of benches with cupboards and draws etc. I've saved some of Jeffersons pics of his shed as my screensaver to "inspire" me. I'll have a place for everything, but will it be "everything in it's place" ? That's the test .
My dirt bike buddies have already laid claim to the shed, they want to throw out all this "old wood and other junk" put in a cuppla old lounges, the heater and a fridge, make a tape of the sounds of working on motor bikes to play out the window, and life don't get a real lot better then that. I gotta say, it's a hard offer to reject .__________________________________________
