    Default Front Door

    Hi ,

Wanted to share with you a labour of love. I restored the front door of the homestead of our family farm , it would be around 75 years old. I had the leadlighting fixed and then had matching leadlight panels made to compliment it. The door frame came from a salvage yard and after removing about six layers of paint I finally got it back to the natural Jarrah. Sadly the farm has changed hands but the door has Pride of place in my new home.

    Cheers GRS

Looks terrific GRS. Hard to photograph lead light?

    Thumbs up

    GRS,

Beautiful work. Nice looking door and beautiful timber. What finish did you use?

Scott,I just used a satin estipol finish as it does get wet if the wind is strong enough.
Glenn, the finish makes it hard to photograph also, note the farm name in the center.
