    Default Greene & Greene Toybox

Finally got around to taking some photo's of the toybox I built. Was a build along with 'The WoodWhisperer'.

Is made from some beautiful New guinea Rosewood from Boutique Timbers and Jarrah plugs. Used Rockler's torsion hinges which work great.
    Shellac finish
Sorry forgot to take wip pics.

Very nice I like the sneaky draw at the bottom.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

    As Wongo said...".beautiful work.
And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

I love Green and Greene furniture and think it is the ultimate. Your work is very well done but I was looking for those black ebony plugs.

Sorry Crowie, but considering it only holds nappies at the moment I thought here should be ok, and I don't think 'nappy box' has the same ring to it.

Even for such a small amount, ebony just a bit to pricey for what will be climb on, jumped on and probably chewed on by my 2 year old. That will be the true test of my craftsmanship.

    Thanks everyone..
