    Default Hall table

My wife asked for a bench to put against a wall to put phone and iPad chargers on, to get them off the kitchen benches.
For years I have wanted to build a hall table inspired by one made by @MajorPanic . At the time there were a few members that made their own version of the table.
I was hopeful that the photos weren’t lost like most of the other threads back then , luckily the photos in the thread I had remembered, had either had either survived, or MP put them back in to preserve the thread. It seems the other versions have lost their photos unfortunately.
Here is a pic of MajorPanic’s masterpiece, and the thread can be viewed here, Rosewood & Silver Ash Hall Table

My version won’t be as elaborate or as elegant as MP’s. There will be no stringing on the top, and the front apron won’t be bowed.
A lot of the other design aspects will be copied though.

I found a piece of Camphor in the shed that is about the right size, and I will be using some Black Bean that I milled years ago for the legs and lower frame.
I will be using mortise and tenon joinery for the lower frame. The top will be 1100x280mm, and the top will sit 900mm from the floor.
Here is a pic of the top, and pieces of Black Bean that I have cut to size.
Still a fair bit of work to go.

And the finished job looked like ? The rule is "no photo - it didn't happen"
Or is it still a work in progress?

Thanks for the prod Gary .
There has been very little done since that last post, life has gotten in the way again, I’m afraid.
Hopefully I will get a break soon, and get back into this project.

Edit- I have been doing wood related activities for the last few days, but not inside the shed. I felled, and milled two large Cadagi trees that were too close to the sheds and pool.
