    Default HNT Jack plane

Well, I tried really hard to find a reason to post this pic, but in the end I couldn't so I'll post it anyway as a gloat.

SWMBO got me a HNT Gordon Aussie Jackplane for Xmas and it's a beauty. Thems endgrain jarrah shavings from my shooting board you can see there.

    tis a slippery slope.
    Cheers,

    Adam

When you receive something like this, you don't need a reason to post, gloating is plenty good enough.

HAve fun, I know you an' jack will have many fun filled hours ahead of you.
    Boring signature time again!

Thanks Outback, I just finished making this bathroom shelf from an offcut of jarrah. The jack was a dream to use as I planed down those pieces of pine to fit in the routed grooves. The finish is like glass, just with the plane and then Organoil rubbed in with 1200 silicone carbide paper.

The first day I got it. I planed a piece of sheoak down till there was nothing left!
    Cheers,

    Adam
